Miya Nazzaro-Grampp has years of experience managing strategic
projects focused on strategic and business plan development, revenue development
and diversification, and special events strategies.
Ms. Nazzaro-Grampp's background blends strategic and implementation skills and extensive knowledge of the social sector and philanthropic community. She also brings experience as a corporate attorney specialized in general corporate matters. She has served on numerous boards and as an Executive Director at a nonprofit organization in DC.
Ms. Nazzaro-Grampp has led collaborative initiatives for
clients that resulted in a rapid expansion of core services with marginal cost
increase, thereby decreasing the ratio of general operating versus program costs.
She has also worked with a client to identify and successfully acquire awards
from US AID, the Department of State, and major foundations resulting in client
financial support in excess of $1.5 to $3 million per year.
During an engagement, she developed and managed business process redesign for a client to increase organizational capacity and streamline project management, thereby obtaining over $1.5 million within one year in additional funding, as part of a tactical strategic plan.
As part of a strategic partnership process, she helped to negotiate memoranda of understanding between partners that included compensation structures, duration of commitment, reporting structure, measurement methodology and goals, and communication structure. These agreements were later used to settle areas of issues of accountability and enabled the partners to avoid a costly legal process.
Ms. Nazzaro-Grampp has spearheaded the development of Our
Voice! Consulting and Capital Perception as the Managing Director. Previously,
she founded and served as Executive Director of a non-profit organization in
Washington, DC, Urban Synergy, that provided collaborative consulting services
to schools and nonprofit organizations and awarded college scholarships. She
served as a corporate attorney at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP in Reston, VA.
She currently serves on the Advisory Council for Public International Law & Policy Group, the lead for the Strategy Committee for the MBC Telecom Industry Group, and the Board of Directors for Urban Synergy. She previously served on the board of the YMCA at Capitol Hill.
